Terms of Use

These terms apply to the MunaMail app for Mac and to munamail.com. By using them you agree to these terms.

The beta

MunaMail is in beta. It is free during the beta. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may end the beta. Before paid plans start we will tell you what they cost; you will not be charged without choosing a plan.

Your mailboxes

You connect your own mailboxes and are responsible for having the right to use them. Your mail provider's terms (for example Google's or Microsoft's) continue to apply to your mailbox. MunaMail works with your mail on your Mac; see the Privacy Policy for what it stores and where.

Acceptable use

Do not use MunaMail to send spam, to break the law, to get into mailboxes that are not yours, or to interfere with mail providers or with our service.

AI providers

AI features use the API key you provide for Anthropic or OpenAI. Their terms and charges apply to that use. AI output can be wrong; check translations and answers before relying on them.

Your content

Your mail and what you write remain yours. We do not claim any rights to them.

No warranty

MunaMail is provided "as is" during the beta, without warranties of any kind. Keep your mail with your provider as usual: MunaMail works on a copy and does not replace your provider's own storage.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or messages, arising from the use of MunaMail. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using MunaMail at any time by removing your mailboxes and deleting the app. We may end access to the beta, for everyone or for someone who breaks these terms.

Changes

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell people on the beta list by email.
